Attendance Policy

BrickCon is a Convention put on by adults and intended for adults. Persons aged 14 to 17 are allowed to register and attend provided they are accompanied and supervised by an adult, who also registers and attends.

Registrations for children under 14 will not be accepted. See Policy Discussions or contact the Registrar for information and options.

If you choose to bring your spouse, son(s) or daughter(s) to the full Convention (Thursday 8am through Sunday 6pm), each of you must be registered and have paid. No person will be allowed inside BrickCon (Convention) without registration.

You are responsible for your behavior at all times during the Convention. Parent/Guardians are responsible for their children’s behavior.

Any person, Attendee or Guest, may be asked to leave if their behavior becomes inappropriate or disruptive.

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their Parent/Guardian when entering any of the BrickCon facilities.

As a Registered Attendee, you are encouraged to bring whatever LEGO® creation you’d like to display, subject to space limitations.

Large MOCs (greater than 32×32 baseplate size) brought in during Set-Up at BrickCon cannot be guaranteed space for display without prior communication with Theme Coordinators (through the MOC Card process or direct contact). If your MOC won’t fit you won’t be allowed to display it.

Display Limitations

BrickCon reserves the right to not allow certain displays. There are two levels, Inappropriate and Not Allowed. If your display is deemed Inappropriate*, it may be set aside from Public view to reduce its impact on our visitors, but will be allowed to be displayed during the private event. If your display is deemed Not Allowed, you will be asked to remove it from the Ex Hall.

* The “not allowed” condition will be determined by a panel of not less than three (3) senior staff members of BrickCon. (For an explanation about this topic see Policy Discussions)

The following items currently fall within the Not Allowed (banned) Category:

    • Modern weapons (guns) built to life or near-life scale (For a discussion about this topic see Policy Discussions) Further evidence favoring our policy is shown here.
    • Animals, living or deceased (Brick-Built animals ARE allowed and encouraged).

Although we call ourselves BrickCon, we are a LEGO® Convention. Please do not bring models made (primarily) with other building toy brands (e.g. Mega Bloks, K’NEX, etc.)

Attendees are not allowed to sell items to the public without a Brick Bazaar Vendor table. Vendor Tables are offered by invitation only. If you wish to get on this list, please use the Contact Us page with your vendor information.

Attendees may sell and trade between themselves. Such deals cannot be accomplished within the Ex Hall during public hours.

No Animals Allowed. Exception: Guide or assistance animals.

Alcoholic beverages are not allowed within the Exhibition Hall. You WILL be asked to leave.

Alcoholic beverages are permitted within the private spaces, so long as the consumer is over 21. Intoxication is not acceptable and will result in expulsion from BrickCon with possible involvement of authorities.

During the Convention, you are welcome to record your experiences. Please do not be disruptive while doing so.

BrickCon invites you to share your images with everyone so that they may enjoy BrickCon as much as you do. BrickCon has an online presence at (BrickCon Official Flickr Page, and Flickr BrickCon Group Pool) – please post your images there with tags (like ‘BrickCon 2017′) that will help them be found easily.

The primary goal of BrickCon is to make friends and have fun! Make sure that the fun you engage in does not cause others to have less fun.

Be courteous and respectful of the Con and Con Attendees.
